Another one bites the dust! (Hopefully!)
Obama endorsed Rep. Hank Johnson (GA) in his bid for reelection to the 4th District. In a press release posted on the Rep.’s website, Obama stated,”…Together, we are fighting to renew our economy…We passed historic health care reform. I am proud to stand with Hank and support his re-election.” In response, Hank stated,”I am proud to have President Obama’s endorsement…I am determined to continue our work to move America forward.”
I’d rather we move America back to her greatness than propel her into the abyss of overwhelming government control.
When Hank finishes saving Guam from “tipping over” and “capsizing”, he should reconsider Obama’s endorsements.
A brief consultation with Martha Coakley (MA), Jon Corzine (NJ) and Creigh Deeds (VA) would have been in order. Obama’s “seal of approval” is more like the “kiss of death” of a political career.
As Hank rides into the sunset in November, he could always write a book about his misadventures as a Congressional Representative.
